Notes I wrote while studying for certification tracks that have since retired, originally published on my GitHub and kept here at their original addresses.

These are notes I took while studying, for exams that have since been retired. I wrote them for myself, one topic at a time, and I originally published them on my GitHub. I have brought them here so they live alongside the rest of my notes.

I have kept them close to how I wrote them at the time. The wording is mine from back then, the command output comes from the equipment and the software versions I was working with, and I have only tidied up the formatting and the typos. The certification has expired, but the protocols underneath it have not, and I still find myself coming back to some of these pages.

Read them as a record of how I learned this material, not as current exam preparation. Platform names, software versions, and command syntax have moved on since I wrote them.

For me, archiving is a change in status, not in location. A page keeps its address for as long as this site exists, so any link you have saved, and any discussion attached to a page, keeps working after its track is retired.
